What if video game characters were dinosaurs? I'm starting a new series of drawings which answers just that. On today's episode: Sonic the Hedgehog.

Ericiusaurus sega: (Sega's Hedgehog Lizard)
-----------------------
This ornithomimid roamed the plains of late Cretaceous Mobius with unmatched speed. It is believed to have been the fastest dinosaur ever, as calculations based on the animal's tracks suggest it could run past the speed of sound.
E. sega was an omnivore, its' favorite food being the prehistoric Canis capiscum, or "Chili Dog".
There is evidence that this animal, like the modern day magpie, had a liking for shiny objects; thousands of gold rings and colored emeralds were discovered in its' fossilized nest.

Vulperaptor bicodae: (Two-tailed Fox Raptor)
--------------------------
When this bizarre theropod was first discovered in the Green Hill Formation, it was thought to have been the mixed bones of two specimens that died one on top of the other, explaining the presence of two tails. It was only years later that DNA sequencing of the fossil showed a rare mutation, that caused the spine to split at the pelvis, proving that this animal indeed had two tails. It is possible that these tails, which were feathered, moved up and down like fans to propel the animal and give it extra speed while gliding.

Echidnaceras velivolus: (Echidna-horned Sail Glider)
-----------------------------
Despite resembling giant theropods like Ceratosaurus and T. rex, this Jurassic Giant was relatively small- a fully adult specimen was about the size of a modern Mobian echidna.
It had two sail-like membranes that stretched between the front and hind limbs, never seen before on any dinosaur, which led several paleontologists to speculate that E. velivolus might actually be a pterosaur, rather than a dinosaur. However, these membranes, unlike pterosaur wings, could not support powered flight and the consensus is that this animal used them to glide from tree to tree, like modern flying squirrels.

Pingaceratops robotnikus: (Robotnik's Pingas-horned Face)
---------------------------------
This basal ceratopian's remains were discovered by renowned paleontologist Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik of the Scrap Brain University. This animal had a massive girth, and it is believed that it evolved in a time when plants were plentiful, allowing the animal to get a surplus of nutrients which stimulated the development of a bigger, more complex brain, making P. robotnikus the most intelligent dinosaur ever known. The discovery of tools in P. robotnikus nests supports this theory; However, as Dr. Eggman's credibility was always viewed as controversial in the scientific community, many paleontologists believe it to be nothing more than a hoax.

You misspelled "Capsicum" in "Canis capsicum".
